It is no secret that we’ve become a nation of social media lovers. Instagramming our day-to-day lives has become a significant part of our social existence. Whether you’re promoting a personal brand, attracting customers to your online business or simply creating content for your friends and family to enjoy, an aesthetically pleasing backdrop is a great way to make your post stand out from the crowd.

These can be found in abundance in London, which is visited by as many as 19.8m happy-snapping tourists every year. In fact, there are several cafes in London which have gone above and beyond to provide the perfect ‘gram opportunities. Here are five of our favorites:

Peggy Porschen Cakes

On the corner of The King’s Road and Glebe Place, Peggy Porschen Cakes in Chelsea is an Influencer’s haven. The parlour is so popular that they even take specialised bookings for photography and with more than 66,000 tags, we’re sure they’re worthy of a spot on the ‘gram. The outer décor of Peggy Porschen Cakes attracts the most interest. Gold lettering is plated above dusky pink paint with a collection of lilac, cream and white roses lining the doorway for a Summery ‘back to nature’ feel.

EL&N Café

Founded by Alexandra Miller in August 2017, EL&N has quickly gained popularity and with good reason! Now with six locations throughout London, EL&N offers a sophisticated dining experience where the food is as Instagrammable as the location. Quality, fresh ingredients are combined here to create a deliciously tempting, healthy menu. In the flagship Oxford Circus branch, inspirational coffee quotes can be seen displayed amid the rose-covered walls and stylishly hanging lightbulbs. Pink cushioning tastefully complements the white furniture with pashminas hanging on the backs of chairs providing an additional touch of elegance.

Dalloway Terrace

With galleries, museums, greenery and bookstores, artsy Bloomsbury is the perfect home for Dalloway Terrace. This classy eatery brings charm and sophistication, combined with nature for a quintessentially English feel. Currently decorated with coral quince blossom to resemble an English wildlife meadow, the floral decorations here are changed with each season. The wicker seating and canopy roof create an aesthetic that makes the vegan special – Jungle Lunch – feel perfectly at home.

Aubaine

Now with nine branches, including two in Dubai, Aubaine has certainly nailed its niche. A perfect marriage between French cuisine and the sophisticated London dining scene. Aubaine aims to bring guests a ‘relaxed ambience with a dash of refinement’. The Selfridges branch is a particular hotspot with Instagrammers owing to its hanging lavender above white tables, featuring potted plants as a centrepiece.

Farm Girl Café

Between Kings Road and Fulham Road in Chelsea, you can stumble upon this dog-friendly gem of a café. Farm Girl Café have taken their aesthetics very seriously, commissioning interior designer Beata Heuman to put her spin on the place. You’ll certainly feel close to nature here with welcoming shrubs by the doors and leafy trellis within. There are plenty of opportunities to get that perfect Instagram snap whilst you choose from the delicious and nutritious brunch menu.
